REMINDER

I am generous even to give this reminder.

You cannot get a passing grade on this assignment (15% of your overall grade!) if you do not follow the requirements of the assignment. We went over these requirements in class, in my individual appointments with each of you, and they are on the blog. There are no excuses for incorrect formatting or incomplete information.

1. Have you cited your primary document at the top of each page in MLA style?

2. Have you cited a total of three secondary sources throughout your captions and included the full bibliographic entries at the bottom of the page for each of your captions? You may need parenthetical citations in the body of your caption!

3. Have you followed the description of what each paragraph should contain? This also means you should have two paragraphs in your caption, not just one.

If you DID NOT do these things, do not expect a passing grade on your final project. This means even if you got a higher grade on your draft, you will automatically get a D if you do not provide these three things in your captions. I will not accept late projects, so whatever you have turned in by the start of class Tuesday is what I will grade.

We covered MLA citations earlier in class for a reason. If you have questions, go to the resources page and follow the links to direct you to good pages which can explain how to cite a range of items.

We also went over how you should format your document, including layout and its file name. Scroll down on the blog to review the protocol. This is also a helpful time to consider taking more accurate notes during class!
